How to install

Measure the pipe's outside diameter first. On insulated pipe, measure over the insulation, since the marker goes on the jacket.

RollMark™ IV Self-Stick Rollform

A 30 ft continuous roll with the legend repeating so it reads 360° around the pipe. Cut off what each marker needs. Great for long runs of the same legend.

  1. Clean and dry the spot,50°F or warmer.
  2. Measure the wrap.Pipe OD × 3.14 is the distance around the pipe. Add about 1" for overlap.
  3. Cut the piecefrom the roll with a utility knife or scissors.
  4. Peel and wrapit around the pipe, pressing it down as you go, and finish with the overlap on the side away from view.
  5. Add flow arrowswith a band of arrow tape next to it.

Arrow & banding tape

90 ft rolls in every ASME color. Use it to seal the ends of self-stick markers and to show flow direction.

  1. Match the marker.Use the same color scheme and the tape width for your marker size.
  2. Clean and dry the pipe,50°F or warmer.
  3. Wrap one bandaround the pipe with the arrows pointing with the flow, so the ends meet or just overlap.
  4. Press it downall the way around.
One 90 ft roll makes about 344 bands on 1" OD pipe, 172 on 2" OD, 86 on 4" OD and 57 on 6" OD. The calculator figures rolls for you.

RollMark™ IV pipe markers are manufactured with the industry’s most durable, long-lasting vinyl with an aggressive acrylic adhesive backing. Now available in four standard styles/sizes to effectively mark pipes with an outside diameter of .7” to 10”. Craftmark sizes, color schemes and letter height all conform 100% to ASME (ANSI) A13.1-2023 Scheme for The Identification of Piping Systems.
