How to install

Measure the pipe's outside diameter first. On insulated pipe, measure over the insulation, since the marker goes on the jacket.

SpecMark™ Snap-On (sizes AA–E)

Pre-coiled and pre-tensioned plastic that snaps around the pipe. No adhesive on the pipe, no surface prep, 360° visibility.

Check the arrow.Hold the marker so the printed arrows point with the flow and the legend reads right side up from where people will see it.
Open the coil.Pull the edges apart just enough to fit over the pipe.
Snap it on.Place it on the pipe and let go. It springs closed and grips on its own.
Sizes D and E: lock the overlap.Peel the liner off the adhesive strip and press the overlap down so the marker holds to itself.
Slide it into place.Move it along the pipe to the spot you want. It can be removed and reused later.

Works on wet, oily, cold, dirty or rusty pipe and on insulation. Great for retrofits where you can't clean the pipe.

SpecMark™ G* and H* (strap-on)

For pipe 6.8" OD and up. These ship flat and hold on with UV-stabilized black nylon straps: 2 for G*, 3 for H*. They aren't 360°, so place them where they'll be seen.

Pick the viewing side.Place the marker on the side of the pipe people see from the aisle or floor.
Position the markerwith the arrow pointing with the flow.
Strap it.Wrap a strap around the pipe over each end of the marker (and the middle, on H*), then pull it snug.
Trim the tailsof the straps.

DESCRIPTIONS

SpecMark™️ Snap On™️ (sizes AA-E) are pre-coiled and pretensioned printed sheet that are designed to snap around the pipe and stay there without adhesive on the pipe (sizes D and E have an adhesive strip that secures the marker to itself). Sizes G* and H* are supplied flat and are installed using factory supplied UV stabilized black nylon straps (2 for G*, 3 for H*).
