These charts fully explain ammonia refrigeration piping and component markers, including abbreviations. These charts should be placed in a conspicuous place that will be seen by operating and repair personnel. Regardless of piping color scheme selected, a legend or key to the meaning of the colors should be posted in a conspicuous place.
